Risk assessment
This page allows you to determine which patients are at risk (divided into categories numbered 1 to 7) and which infections to look for in each case, based on the patient's sexual risk behaviours.

Standard tests
- Gonorrhoea + Chlamydia (if Chlamydia positive and anal sex, test for Lymphogranuloma venerum - LGV)
If immune status for hepatitis B unknown, add:
- Hepatitis B
If sexual contact with partner from category 4 to 7, add:
- Syphilis + HIV + Hepatitis C

If immune status for hepatitis B unknown, add:
- Hepatitis B
If pregnant women <25 years, or older pregnant women belonging (or with a partner belonging) to category 1, 4, 5, or 6, add:
- Chlamydia + Gonorrhoea
(even if result in the 1st trimester is negative, repeat the test in the 3rd trimester to prevent contamination of the child during birth)

Is the patient aware of the existence of preventive HIV treatment (PrEP)?
The PrEP or Pre-exposure prophylaxis is an anti-HIV treatment given as a preventive measure to an HIV-negative person in the event of potentially risky sexual activity. This is a secondary care treatment. Talk to them about it and advise them to consult a reference centre.
